Salesnexus and Funambol Sync
There are two parts to getting your sync set up. First, we need you to download the application (Funambol) and install it. Keep in mind you can only use the sync tool on one device per user or you risk creating duplicate records. Salesnexus can be synced with both Microsoft Outlook and with your mobile phone. If you are syncing with Outlook, you can download the Funambol Outlook sync application here. If you are syncing with your mobile device, you can download the Funambol mobile sync application here or download it from m the appropriate application store.
The next step after the application is installed is to contact SalesNexus support and request to have credentials to log in to our Funambol server. Separate login credentials are required for sync and they are not exactly the same as your Salesnexus log in. The funambol connection is secure and part of the Salesnexus network so there is no risk of data being leaked or lost while syncing. Support will also inform you of the best practices and configurations for syncing.

What is Funambol?
Funambol is the tool Salesnexus uses to establish sync between other applications and the Salesnexus database. The most common devices synced with Salesnexus are: Outlook, Blackberry, Android, and soon Apple devices.
What types of Data can be synced?
Most of the Funambol applications will allow you to sync contacts, notes, tasks, and Calendar items.
Additional Setup
SalesNexus is responsible for setting up the user account on our server. We will then provide you with the user account information and tell you how to access the proper Funambol plugin. You will then configure the plugin. Once you have configured your plugin, we will verify a successful configuration with the database. If you need help installing or configuring the Funambol plugin or troubleshooting the sync process, there will be an additional charge.
